In past years the Garou of New York had once stood strong within Central Park. Saddly these times have ended and others have taken over those precious lands. Forced to start anew through the work of very few a new territory has been staked out. Ellis Island, once stood proud as a symbol of hope and promise now holds the same for the Garou of New York.
Garou
The garou reside on Ellis Island and currently have not selected an Alpha
Ellis Island is made of two bridge connected land masses. On one side you have a healthy dose of tourism, vistors daily to the Island that brought so many into this country. This area is not considered part of the Sept. On the other side there lays a mostly forgotten peice of land that houses a few scattered buildings used for less then ideal circumstances during the influx of immagrents. The largest of which once housed an infirmary for those suspected to be infected with diseases as they tried to enter. Smaller buildings lay scattered around, some in good condition some in poorer. The land itself is healthy with natural wild life, the hunting and fishing enough to substain a medium sized sept, although for now they remain a small group. In the umbra most areas show a healthy level of wyld energies, the spirits seem content and there is little influence of either the weaver or the wyrm to be found here.
While no active caern lies within this area, it is certianly in the plans for the future if this is to become a strong sept. For now the gauntlet is considered 6. Finding the Sept requires a little looking around, asking the proper channels or more easily answering the call sent out for aid to grow this struggling population of Garou.
