All rules are subject to additions subtractions and changes so check them regularly.
OK, now for the rules and stats that characters are limited to:

Channel Rules

This is one rule you will need to remember!
We do
NOT
allow any sort of arguing between our players, IC
(in character)
is fine, various breeds do that. But OOC
(out of character)
in channel or
in WWHelp, we will not tolerate. Heaven forbid you should argue with one
of the ST's or founders. This is only a game and we intend on keeping
it fun, for everyone -staff included-! You will only get one warning, then you will be kicked and
banned.

As per and in addition to the previous rule, if an Op or ST ask you for a reference for something your character is doing, GIVE IT. The Ops and ST's are NOT all-knowing and sometimes can't remember every single level of every single discipline/gift/sphere/whatever, especially if its one thats not commonly seen. Keep in mind that this is a two way street with one exception. The Op's and ST's have the perogative to throw in twists and turns (as well as penalties for botches) that are NOT neccessarily 'by the book'. However, if that happens and you ASK NICELY the Op/ST will either give you the reference or will tell you that its "ST's perogative". Every WhiteWolf book I have ever seen has that little clause in the front about making the game work for you, using what you want, changing or tossing the rest. We trust our ST's to use fair and partial (ok...sometimes its just fun when they're twisted and evil too) judgment in using 'perogative' rather than the books. Thats part of why they're the ST's.

Check the Message board often, that is where SL's will be posted. If you don't get in on a SL because players don't give you info, speak to an op. Most will try to work you in if there is a way. However, if you don't read the message boards and don't ask an OP about the SL's don't bitch and cry about not gettign in on them.
|
|
No characters die without permission of the ST's and/or of the one to die.
If you get into a fight, discuss before-hand if you would mind if your character
dies or not. If no ST is present, I prefer no deaths at all. There will
be stories where deaths are inevitable, it happens, but the ST's will ask
the players first. That being said, dont get your character into a situation where you know death is possible then get upset when your character dies. This is the World of Darkness, death happens.

Combat and Dice Rolls
All combat needs to be monitored by an ST, the rolls will be monitored by the ST and logs will be kept and reviewed if there are any question about the scene (only exception is if both parties and the st are agreed to freeform it). Some fights not SL involved can be rp'ed out for fun. ST's have the final say on a roll so don't argue with them, if you don't like what one ST tells you to roll deal with it. If you go to another ST because you don't like what one said and it is found out you will be banned, we don't play sides here we are all adults we will act like it. No OP-shopping! All dice rolls need to be made in #VC_Dice.

As for the rest of the rules, we're all adults, act like it. That doesn't mean acting out your favorite porno in channel. However this isn't church either. Its World of Darkness, a game of personal horror, get a helmet. *smirk* Expect swearing but don't go to excess; expect violence but don't think you can walk in and slap people around without getting slapped back... or worse. In general... act like adults, play nice and most importantly... have fun! This is a GAME! If at any point it stops being fun... stop playing. Take a break, take a walk, take a maiden and ravage them repeatedly and then come back.

Any trait that has 4-5 dots must be explained in a character background. Ideally
everyone should have a background, even if it's very brief. New (starter) characters will not have any higher than 3 dots in any discipline.

Unlike most channels that add 15 freebies, we add
25
. Not sure when this started but it just stuck. Have fun distributing them.
|
|
Have a nice rounded character, no min/maxing.. or you will
not
be approved. Also, a well developed concept is a very good thing, it will
help you in playing so your character doesn't just sit around. The more information you provide, the more the ST's can work with. Short, sweet and to the point is prefered over lengthy dissertations.

Experience
points are given out on the first of each month. They are put into text
format, sent to each OP/ST for amount approval/disapproval. When I recieve
comformation on points, I post them on the website.
